My Story

I Love My Work

While working as an architect and being a wife and mother, I fell in love with cooking. Realizing how much I loved what I was doing at home, I decided to make a career change and completed my culinary degree at Macomb Community College. I am fortunate to love what I do and continue to make baked goods and teach people to cook and bake.

Kim's Cooking Creations (KCC) philosophy is to help people feel more comfortable and confident in the kitchen by teaching basic cooking and baking skills. We all have busy lives and cooking is a daily necessity. I aim to help students simplify and maneuver effortlessly through the kitchen with tips and tricks. My classes are hands-on, you are here to participate, get your hands deliciously dirty, and sample great food along the way. Each experience you have will be a memorable one. I offer a variety of classes including vegetarian, vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free recipes. I love being able to support and teach clients with special dietary restrictions.

Prepared baked goods such as scones, pies, mini breads, and biscotti are also available with dietary restrictions in mind. You really can have a treat that meets your needs and tastes fabulous!

In addition to scheduled classes, I also offer birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or any gathering of friends or children wanting to learn cooking/baking skills. These are offered in traditional ingredients, gluten-free, and sugar-free. Catering for small events such as showers, birthdays, graduations, or retirement parties are also available.

Please feel free to reach out for pricing and ideas - let's get cooking!
